A fantastic opportunity to work for a leading independent furniture retailer in the North London/South Hertfordshire area. They are a quality company with an high reputation for excellent customer service and first class products.

They are seeking a bright, motivated and enthusiastic individual to work in their busy merchandising and buying office.

You will be working as part of a small and professional team in a fast-paced environment, where no two days are the same.

About the role

- Become a key member of our website/buying office team, ensuring products, prices and descriptions are accurate and current.
- Assist with cashing up processes
- Interview customers and complete finance agreements for in-store orders.
- Various ad-hoc administrative tasks.

If you can demonstrate the following, then they want to hear from you.

- Excellent communication skills and telephone manner.
- Good computer skills (Microsoft Office including Excel).
- The ability to multi-task and prioritise deadlines.
- Previous office experience in an administrative role.

Salary

£18 – 20K pro rata

They are based in a town centre location in North London/South Hertfordshire that is well served by public transport with a bus terminal and nearby overland train station. Good road network too with free parking on site.
