An excellent opportunity has arisen in a Nottingham based Accountancy firm for an accountant to gain work experience whilst completing their Accountancy qualification. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who wants to learn and progress in a hardworking, rewarding and friendly environment.
You will be responsible for the accounts preparation for sole traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies, taxation work and VAT returns. You will work closely and build relationships with one of our key clients as well as managing a portfolio of your own clients. There is also an opportunity for this role to develop into a senior managerial role for the right candidate. You will be offered a generous training contract to start or continue with your accountancy qualification.
To be considered for this role you must have previous Practice experience and a minimum of 12 months dealing with sole traders and limited companies accounts. Your strong skills in accounting will be matched with your hardworking, deadline driven and positive attitude. You will be confident, able to get on well with people from a range of different backgrounds and be comfortable meeting clients face to face and giving advice over the phone.
