The Role: Accounts Senior/Semi Senior
This is an opportunity to join a well-established, award winning practice, based in Surbiton, Surrey. They are offering the successful candidate an opportunity to join a progressive firm that provides its clients with consultancy and advisory services as well as compliance services. This opportunity would suit a Senior or forward-thinking Semi-Senior who is looking to progress to a more responsible role.
Responsibilities:
You will be working within a small team of professionals providing first class customer service to a portfolio of clients. The duties & responsibilities you will be required to undertake are:
- Day to day servicing of a portfolio of SME businesses and their owners
- Accounts Preparation
- Production of monthly management accounts
- Vat Returns
- Payroll and bookkeeping when required
- Supervision, training and development of junior team members
The Candidate:
To be successful in the role you will be a positive and supportive individual who has excellent communication skills and the determination to succeed and exceed expectations. You will ideally have the following skills and qualifications:
- AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA qualified/part qualified
- Experience of working in Practice
- Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
- Exceptional communication, organisational and management skills
- A positive, supportive attitude
- The ability to work as part of a team
- Good technical knowledge
- Working knowledge of Iris practice software
- Working knowledge of one of the major proprietary bookkeeping packages ideally Xero
- Good skills in MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook
Benefits:
Salary: £26,000+ depending on experience and qualifications
Bonus: Up to 5% of salary upon achievement of personal targets
