The Role: Accounts Senior progressing to Client Manager

This is an opportunity to join a well-established, award winning practice, based in Surbiton, Surrey. They are offering the successful candidate an opportunity to join a progressive firm that provides its clients with consultancy and advisory services as well as compliance services. This opportunity would suit a forward-thinking Senior or exceptional Semi-Senior who is looking to progress to manage a small team and a full portfolio of clients within 12 months.

Responsibilities:

You will be working within a small team of professionals providing first class customer service to a portfolio of clients. The duties & responsibilities you will be required to undertake are:

- Day to day servicing of a portfolio of SME businesses and their owners
- Ensuring the timely and efficient provision of compliance services (e.g. assurance, accounts preparation,
business/personal tax computations and tax returns etc.)
- Identification, marketing and delivery of 'added value' services (business planning and forecasting,
corporate/personal tax advice, management accounting services etc.)
- Supervision, training and development of junior team members
- Allocation of team resources

The Candidate:

To be successful in the role you will be a positive and supportive individual who has excellent communication skills and the determination to succeed and exceed expectations. You will ideally have the following skills and qualifications:

- ACA / ACCA Finalist or Recently Qualified
- Experience of working in Practice
- Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
- Exceptional communication, organisational and management skills
- Good technical knowledge
- Working knowledge of Iris practice software
- Working knowledge of one of the major proprietary bookkeeping packages ideally Xero
- Good skills in MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook

Benefits:

Salary: £30,000+ depending on experience
Bonus: Up to 5% of salary upon achievement of personal targets
