An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a dynamic and rapid growing firm of accountants.

Create it
- Deliver own new business targets for existing clients of the firm
- Develop and find content to help implement the firm’s content plan
- Contribute to the firm’s marketing plan
- Be knowledgeable about the different services that can be offered to clients
- Actively build and nurture an on-line and off-line network to help generate new leads

Convert it
- Support the Director to handle and convert new business enquiries
- Gain agreement from the Practice Manager for any non-standard payment terms
- Follow firm’s Business Development Processes and systems to minimise time for clients to convert
Deliver it (to clients)
- Work with clients to gain a high client satisfaction score and generate more work from existing clients
- Plan the workflow for their team
- Be the day-to-day point of contact for own clients.

Be responsible for their clients:
- Basic Tax planning
- Bookkeeping queries
- Quarterly review of Outsourced provider’s work
- VAT return review
- Review of year-end accounts
- Corporation and personal tax returns
- Management accounts
- Get all the client data on time
- Deliver an advisory service to their clients including budgeting and forecasting
- Meet with clients 9-10 months into their financial year to provide basic tax planning

Fully brief and project manage the team and outsourced provider to:
- Deliver a high technical standard
- Achieve a 2-week job turnaround time
- Adhere to the firm’s client care policy
- New client packs are completed and returned promptly, including direct debit mandate
- Deliver it (people)
- Run and develop their team
- Quarterly development conversations & objective setting, monthly performance reviews
- Promptly and accurately give positive and negative feedback to the team.
- Contribute to the people plan in order to generate a high staff satisfaction score
- Work with the team to agree individual productivity targets for client jobs
- Keep up-to-date with technical updates, changes in accounting and tax regulations
- Keep up-to-date with the current accounting platforms, financial software and cloud based financial and business apps
- Invest in own skillset and a sector specialism to be able to deliver a proactive business advisor service to help own clients achieve their business and personal goals
