Founded in 2003, this is a specialist maritime consulting group solving problems around the world for organisations operating in the international shipping market. Often working in sensitive circumstances and complex environments, they provide investigative, intelligence, and risk management expertise, that helps their clients manage particular commercial and operational risks, respond to crisis events and recover from the damage caused by the default, negligence or malicious acts of third parties. They have offices in the UK, New York and Singapore.

They are recruiting an Accounts Clerk for their small Finance team based at their UK head office which is located between Cumnor and Farmoor, Oxfordshire.

Key responsibilities include:
- Raising sales invoices for goods and services provided to UK, EU and export customers.
- Processing and payment of supplier invoices and employee expense claims.
- Bank reconciliations
- Entering case related details into their bespoke database.
- Scanning and electronic filing of account paperwork.
- General support of the Finance Director

Suitable applicants must:
- Be able to work accurately and pay attention to detail.
- Be able to organise their workload to meet deadlines.
- Have medium to advanced using Excel and be confident using computer software.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Be able to demonstrate basic knowledge of accounting practises and fiscal regulations including UK VAT.

Hours & Benefits
Normal office hours are 9.00a.m. to 5.30p.m, but we will consider applicants seeking a part-time role.
In addition to Bank Holidays, 25 days holiday per annum.

Subject to certain criteria you may be eligible for a pension contribution, and death in service cover.
