This growing office equipment and solutions supplier and requires an experienced Accounts Assistant.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager this is important role is responsible for:
- Credit control, managing ad hoc payments and chasing payments.
- Purchase ledger management
- Account reconciliation on purchase and sales ledger
- Responding to customer queries
- Manage invoice and contract queries from Finance
- Scanning and archiving of financial documents
- Producing management and financial reports monthly and as required by management.
- Supporting Customer Service
Qualifications / Experience
- AAT qualification or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in bookkeeping and or accounts administration, minimum 2 years
- Excellent communication skills and phone manner
- A demonstrable high level of attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and handle a varied and complex workload
- Capable of multi-tasking working in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work in a team environment and develop relationships
- Computer literate, Microsoft Outlook, Word and especially Excel
- Ability to effectively and accurately communicate information, in both verbal and written form.
- Ability to work under pressure whilst meeting all deadlines
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Experience of working with Xero an advantage

- Excellent basic salary of £17,000 p.a. to £20,000 p.a. dependent on experience.
- Contract Type: Permanent
- Hours of Work: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm Monday to Friday. Flexibility will be required to meet customer needs.
