This company is looking for a motivated, professional and proactive, Accounts Assistant to joint their successful busy team, in a ‘family-feel’ environment coupled with a professional corporate culture. You will gain experience through varied tasks and responsibilities in this role, making every day different.

The successful candidate must be proactive, self-motivated, have a high level of enthusiasm, a keen eye for detail and high level of written and oral communication skills. The candidate will need to be organised, methodical and numerate.

Key Responsibilities:

- Daily bank reconciliations
- Raising sales invoices, purchase orders and credit control tasks
- Weekly reporting on aged debtors
- Preparation of payment run for supplier payments
- Knowledge of VAT procedure
- Chasing outstanding payments via telephone and email
- Process customer statements (weekly/monthly)
- Ad hoc duties as required

40 hours per week (Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm)

Computer skills: Microsoft excel, word - Sage is preferable, but not a necessity.

Own transport essential (due to location)
