Accounts Assistant
Alcester and Kenilworth, Warwickshire
£22,000 - £26,000 Plus Benefits
Hours 9.00am - 5.30pm Summer and 9.00am - 5pm in Winter.
With 45 years of success behind them, a highly-respected caravan and motorhome dealer is looking for an Accounts Assistant to support the Group Accountant of this family-run business.
Within a friendly and fast-paced environment, you will help to ensure efficient running of the Accounts Function over our sites in Warwickshire. You will be assisting with month-end procedures and will be required to assist the finance department with ad hoc duties.
As Accounts Assistant your responsibilities will include end-to-end purchase ledger processing, including identifying process improvements within the purchase ledger role.
Your duties will include, but will not be limited to:
- Matching and batching, purchase orders to invoices.
- Processing supplier invoices and submitting for approval.
- Payment runs and Statement Reconciliation
- Preparation of a monthly BACS file
- Cashbook payment entries
- Raising sales invoices and small amounts of credit control
- Petty Cash reconciliations, expenses, managing credit card expenditure
- Query resolution

To be considered for the role you must have the following skills:
- End-to-end Purchase Ledger experience
- Have strong IT skills, particularly MS Excel
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- You will have a high level of accuracy with a good eye for detail.
- Experience of Accounting systems
- Full driving Licence. This role includes working across two site locations (free on-site parking)
