They are seeking an Accounts Assistant on a fixed term, temporary basis to compliment it's existing Finance team. The fixed term will run until the end of 2017 with the potential to go permanent. This is a part time position of 20-25 hours per week to be worked over 4 or 5 days, dependant on the flexibility of the successful candidate.
This position will support the Financial Controller to cover all daily and ledger transactions and to achieve the required Finance tasks and functions within set deadlines and will work as part of the wider team supporting the Finance function.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Sales Ledger – Raise invoices and match receipts.
- Purchase Ledger - Process invoices, preparing supplier payment runs and process all transactions in a timely manner and within the set deadlines.
- Bank reconciliation and cash book posting.
- Timesheet processing.
- Process petty cash returns, and reconcile Petty Cash, including Foreign currency.
- Review and process Personal expenses claims and Company Credit Card expenses.
- Preparing financial information as requested by the Financial Controller.
The successful candidate will either be AAT Intermediate qualified or working towards the qualification. Alternatively they may be qualified by at least 5 years book keeping experience.
Occasional travel to The Netherlands may be required.
