Accounts and Payroll / Multitask Accounts Personnel
Salary: Dependant on experience and qualifications (£18,000 - £25,000).
Full Time, Permanent
Hours: (39 Hours per week) Monday – Thursday 8am – 5pm, Friday 8am – 1pm
Hours negotiable depending on circumstances.
This positon is for a small family run manufacturing company based in Rotherham. This role will suit an experienced Accounts Clerk, Payroll Clerk, Bookkeeper or Finance Assistant who has a strong understanding and experience with Accounts.
Immediate start would be beneficial for training purposes.
The role will involve elements of the following:
- The ability to read, understand and collate monthly business accounts including accruals and prepayments.
- Completing VAT Returns
- Collating information for INTASTAT and other overseas matters
- Use of spread sheets to record income and expenditure of VISA
- Processing wages weekly and monthly including holidays, SSP, P11Ds etc Inputting onto Sage50
- Maintaining an accurate cash flow on a daily basis
- Chasing overdue invoices by telephone and email
- Allocating payments accordingly
- Sending out client statements
- Processing and payment of invoices received.
Requirements: To be considered for this role you should have the following skills / experience
- A good knowledge & understanding of basic business accounts
- Able to work in a fast pace environment
- Keep calm under pressure
- Self-driven, motivated and assertive attitude
- Confident communicator as this role will involve liaising with various key senior managers of the business, with the ability to explain financial matters clearly
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
- Understanding of payroll related duties
- Previous experience of accounts and payroll
- Strong Administrate background
