This is an opportunity to join a small business in the centre of Macclesfield, employing around 20 people. It has ambitious plans for growth in 2018 and is backed by PE investors.

A role has arisen for a part time ( approximately 25 hours per week) Accounts Administrator. This is the only accounts role in the company and, as well as undertaking key accounting, the role provides support across the whole of the rest of the business. As such it is a great opportunity to take real responsibility and to learn and develop new skills.

Key tasks include

- Receipt, posting and payment of supplier invoices
- Posting commission invoices
- Receipt, analysis and posting of commission statements
- Involvement in monthly payroll including overtime and commission calculations and holiday and sickness recording

The role is wide ranging and at the heart of the business, reporting to and supporting the Managing Director and Operations Manager. In addition there is external support in the form of a Financial Consultant.

The ideal candidate will have the following experience/skills/attributes

- Quickbooks accounts experience
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy is a must
- Willingness to learn and grow into role as the business expands together with flexibility
- Ability to own and run a process
- A can do attitude
