This company is one of the leading providers of civil engineering services in Scotland, working in the construction, rail, renewable, utility and public sectors.

They specialise in general civil and building works, provision of railway safety critical personnel and civil upgrades and remedial works on onshore windfarms.

They are expanding and currently require an Accounts Administrator to join their successful team.

Ideally you must have book keeping experience and must be familiar with Sage 50 Accounts, preferably having used Projects and CIS modules.
A background in the construction industry would be preferable, as would a working knowledge of Sage Payroll and Excel.

The role will involve a broad range of activities, the main responsibilities being:
- Carry out processing within Sage 50
- Maintain purchase and sales ledgers
- General invoicing
- Reconciling bank accounts
- Preparing and submitting VAT Returns
- EIR submissions
- Credit control
- Day-to-day accounting tasks

No formal qualifications are necessary however accountancy experience is vital for the role.
