The company is currently enjoying a period of sustained growth and to support the business requirements a position has opened up for an experienced Accountant to join an established progressive business.
The Role:
- Manage all aspects of accounts preparation and book-keeping
- Maintaining sales and purchase ledgers
- Reporting to the Managing Director
- Preparing accounts to trial balance
- Reconciling balance sheet and control accounts
- Bank procedures involving Invoice Financing
- Reconciling bank accounts
- Preparing invoices and credit notes
- Posting bills and receipts
- Petty cash
- Credit Control
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Financial statements
- Preparation of annual accounts
- Liaising with external accountants
- Ad hoc duties as required
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate a flexible “can do” attitude, be organised, conscientious and possess good time management skills, interpersonal and communication skills. In addition they seek an individual that can be a team player and who can demonstrate the ability to work on their own initiative.
Must have the following Experience;
- Accounts to Trial Balance
- End of Month Journals
- Bank Reconciliations
- Accounts Payable and Receivable
- Sage 50 Cloud Accounting
- Banking Procedures involving Invoice Financing
Salary Dependent on Experience.
