This fast growing specialised international food importer is seeking an Accountant for its new offices based in Bromsgrove.
They are looking to recruit a diligent and hard working individual who is capable of working under pressure and is adaptable to a wide range of tasks. A positive ‘can do’ approach, a friendly attitude and comfort with numbers is essential for this role.
This is a new role and will take on a number of tasks currently undertaken by the Head of Finance aswell as new duties. This will suit someone newly qualified (ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA) and looking for a first move into industry. You will be required to complete monthly management accounts to a strict timetable, in time manage the finance function, liaise with the statutory auditors and bankers. In addition you will have strong IT knowledge in order to provide a link between the IT support providers, both software and hardware, and the business.
Further relevant training and professional development will be provided as and when necessary.
You will also be expected to help with holiday/absence cover for other members of the finance team and so will be used to working in a team environment.
You will have a high degree of attention to detail, a methodical approach to tasks and strong Microsoft Office & Excel knowledge.
