This company develops, makes and markets professional tooling solutions for technicians all over the world.

They require a professional, dedicated and team-orientated person to work in their extremely busy Financial Services Department. The successful candidate will be required to pro-actively manage the EC business portfolio to corporate, regional, national and individual performance standards. The Account Manager is the primary contact and advocate between their finance and tools field personnel on all aspects of the credit business including, business development and new product introduction.

Objectives will include building strong relationships with the tools regional sales management team and Franchise sales force promoting the use of credit programs at all times. This will be done by selling program features and benefits, and training as required. The Account Manager will have direct contact with customers in order to collect payments and resolve any account arrears issues. They will also be expected to counsel and advise Field Management and franchisees on credit sales issues, collection issues, and customer credit concerns. Reporting to the Portfolio Manager, the successful person will be targeted on their results and will need to accurately forecast loss and delinquency on a regular basis. As such, they will be reliable, accurate and have an eye for detail. The Account Manager will also be involved in arranging repossessions and any resulting legal matters.

They are looking for someone who has excellent interpersonal skills, a good telephone manner, a strong personality and a positive, professional approach. The Account Manager will possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral and have a high level of competency in ICT (Email, Word, Excel). The nature of their dynamic business will require an individual who is able to prioritise their work, cope with competing deadlines and use their initiative in a variety of situations. The successful candidate will be employed full time and work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday in the Financial Services Department, reporting to the Portfolio Manager.
