This company is an experienced manufacturer of a wide range of toiletry products, pharmaceuticals, and medical devices. They ensure an understanding of their customer's businesses to whom they offer a wide range of services, including formulation development, material purchasing, manufacture, and analysis.

They are looking for a vibrant and dynamic account manager to take responsibility for a selection of accounts including their No.1 pharmaceutical customer. The role will present a high challenge, but it is in their culture to provide high support which allows their people to flourish and expand their potential. In this role, you will:

- Manage specific sales accounts, improving turnover and profitability.
- Conduct effective customer /supplier reviews on a regular basis to ensure key KPI's are met.
- Regularly review and carry out research into competitors, consumer attitudes, market activity and new initiatives.
- Present new ideas to current and potential customers.
- Actively seek out new business opportunities within existing and new customers covering both the pharmaceutical and toiletry sectors.
- To assist, where necessary, in the general commercial and marketing activities of the Sales operation.
- Delight the customer in the way you handle all day to day issues relating to account development and servicing.
- Build strong and productive internal relationships and provide internal briefs to stakeholders for developing/transferring/producing world class toiletry, medical device, and pharmaceutical products.
- Have a broad awareness of issues and tools to help develop new business for the company.
- Manage customer commitments

Person Specifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need experience in the Health and Beauty industry and be able to quickly understand and relay technical details to the customer and internal stakeholders.

Previous experience of new product development and growing sales accounts within this industry is essential.

You will need to embrace a collaborative environment by setting clear goals, monitoring progress and upholding people to account. You will be solution focused and flexible and engender success.
