Account Manager - Leading Steel Stockholder

The Role
They are now seeking an experienced Account Manager to manage and develop a portfolio of existing customers and drive increased profitability.

You will be responsible for the daily management of the accounts, identifying additional sales opportunities.

You will be responsible for securing business within the Engineering Steels division but will have the remit to sell other products within the groups range.

They need a safe pair of hands to provide consistent service to a well- established customer base. This is purely an account management role, where outgoing calls are simply to follow up on your customers enquiries and quotes. There may be occasional visits to customers but the majority of your time will be spent in an internal account management role.

The Candidate
They are looking for candidates who have previous experience within the steel stockholding industry, engineering or a related industry in an Account Management role.

You must have a high degree of personal organisation combined with excellent time management skills, previous sales experience and outstanding relationship building skills.

They are a high performing team and therefore you must be willing to aspire to maintaining that level of performance in a “can do” environment.
