You will manage a set of 20 – 30 accounts, overseeing the development and execution of processes and programs designed to ensure adoption and utilisation of their solution.

Ensuring complete customer satisfaction, retaining customers and driving revenue in both pre and post-sales support and ongoing engagement will also be crucial elements to this role.

You will focus on ensuring we continue to deliver exceptional service to aid in achieving the customers business objectives.

This role will be vital in the delivery of successful pilot programs and full roll-outs.

You will partner with all internal departments to ensure a customer first approach is maintained.

- Supporting new customers from pilots, through to embedding the solution across the business
- Work closely with the customer as the main point of contact
- Provide business review meetings with customers to aid opportunity growth and demonstrate ROI
- Deliver effective presentations to head office teams, area and store managers alike
- Use KPI’s to make data-driven decisions
- Liaise internally with all departments from accounting, sales, support functions and the technical team
- Support the sales team during meetings by introducing the customer to their software and becoming the first point of contact for future engagements
- Deliver one-to-one and group training sessions

Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years of either account manager or retail management experience
- Knowledge and interest of the UK retail industry and using data to drive performance
- Excellent spoken/written communication skills
- Good networking skills
- Excellent telephone manner, good vocabulary and literacy skills
- Able to compile, collate and write detailed performance reports with actionable advice to aid continuous improvements
- Natural ability to speak with retail managers at all levels with an open and honest consultative manner
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
- Ability to act on initiative and solve problems quickly and calmly to the customer’s complete satisfaction
- Sociable with a good sense of humour and who will always go the extra mile
- Able to be flexible in terms of travel to customer head office locations around the UK, and support training needs for regional or area meetings
- You will love building key relationships and have a passion to learn your customer’s business to tailor our software to their needs.
- It`s important that you are self-motivated, able to multitask and great with people internally and externally to get the job done
- High levels of drive, energy and results-orientation
- Strong knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and using retail software applications would be an advantage

The role would be based from home but ideally located in the London/Home Counties area.

In addition to your base salary of £38,000, your package would be made up of:
- Performance related commission
- A car allowance/scheme
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
- Company Pension scheme
