Would you like an exciting role in a company that’s turning a whole industry on its head? They’re a multi-award winning accountancy practice that thinks very differently. You won’t find any grey pinstripe suits here: instead you’ll find friendly people with personalities, a team that’s passionate about learning, and managers who are dedicated to doing things differently.

You’ll be joining their growing team as an account manager - don’t worry, you don’t need to be an accountant, but you should know how to deliver brilliant customer service. You’ll be helping their clients fulfil their dreams of becoming freelancers, and you’ll be on hand to support them every step of the way. You’ll advise them on starting up, and then provide them with fantastic advice whenever they need it, via email and on the phone. It goes without saying that you’ll need to be a good communicator with an eye for detail, and you’ll need to be organised too.

This is an entry-level position, so they don’t expect you to have any prior knowledge. But they do expect you to be a quick and enthusiastic learner, and being helpful should come naturally to you.

You’ll find your teammates and managers are friendly and supportive, and will take the time to help you learn and develop in your new role. It’s fair to say that learning and development is in the company’s DNA - that why they’ll support you if you wish to continue studying, and they’ll help you to gain new qualifications.

You’ll need to have a track record of strong academic performance, and any customer service experience - including retail, office or hospitality - would be beneficial.

You’ll be based in their characterful and well-equipped offices, close to Derby city centre, with good transport links a short walk away. They run a number of regular social events, including BBQs, board game nights, 10K runs, tough mudders, VR gaming nights, and much more. They also love to celebrate their successes with office pizza days, and the odd cake or two.

As well as your salary, your benefits will include a share of the company’s profits, private health insurance, a pension, 28 days holiday (increasing after 2 years) and funding for training.
