Account Handler

In this role you will be reporting to the Service Team Leader, the position of Account Handler is responsible for providing customer service whilst managing a portfolio of clients mailing and fulfilment business. This person will be responsible for maintaining and developing customer relationships, whilst supporting sales Account Managers to identify new business opportunities.

You will need to continuously develop a deep knowledge of mailing production & pick/pack fulfilment, domestic and international postal methods.

Your Tasks

- To manage existing and new client activity, maintaining the local software and CRM tools.
- To provide advice to customers on production and mailing methods whilst maximising profitability.
- To carry out customer requests in a timely, orderly, efficient and courteous manner.
- Experienced account handlers will be required to provide quotations for new mailing campaigns
- To create and maintain accurate job instructions, liaising with Operations to assure workable schedules and forecasts are maintained.
- Sign off job packs or seek client sign off (as required) at the start of a mailing campaign.
- Ensure a live sample of every mailing is retained with the job instruction.
- To liaise with other departments to ensure the customer needs can be met and informing customers if there are issues or delays.
- To monitor and update Production schedule on a daily basis. For fulfilment clients provide reports in a timely fashion to support client SLA’s
- To communicate with Production Support Manager daily with work in progress.
- To produce accurate and timely invoices, completing all invoices by the month end cut off is of critical importance.
- To maintain and develop your expertise in all business areas with the support of their training and development programmes
- To be proactive in customer support and meet SLA guidelines for call handling, query response and where applicable quotation
- To maintain contact with irregular mailing clients, calling them at least every 3 months to maintain relations.

- You are someone who is self- motivated, sales orientated and enjoy working to targets
- You have excellent communication skills, both oral and written is paramount
- Able to manage time effectively to complete workloads and meet deadlines.
- You can plan, schedule and evaluate your own work and create, maintain and promote good working relationships
