This globally recognised event service provider with offices in the UK and Middle East, is currently looking for an Account Handler to join their Stratford office (East London).

The Role
Reporting to the Senior Account Handler and working closely with the Crew Manager and Operations Director, the successful candidate will support with the preparation of quotes, booking resources, organising accommodation or transport and assisting with the 24 hour emergency on call service.

Responsibilities
- Manage existing client accounts and develop relationships where possible
- Carry out regular site visits to develop client relationships and ensure that standards are being upheld.
- Source new clients, arrange and attend meetings to generate new business and manage relationships accordingly.
- Ensure that customers receive the best possible service at all times.
- Ensure complaints are handled in line with company procedures
- Assist the finance and admin team with reconciliation of time sheets, payroll and invoicing
- Ensuring accreditation for events is complete.
- Prepare accurate quotes and schedules using a bespoke system and excel
- Ensure all project information is communicated to all team members
- Update client and staff records ensuring current information is available at all times
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the clients’ needs and manage them through to delivery
- Obtain client feedback after each event and report to senior management
- Assist with management of external suppliers
- Attend relevant trade exhibitions, networking events and training
- Assist the Senior Account Handler with any other task as reasonably requested

- Happy to travel around the UK and worldwide
- Able to adapt quickly to changes
- Ability to work flexible hours when required
- Self-motivated and outgoing
- Good knowledge of MS Office including Word and Excel
- Good communication skills
- Good team player
- Able to identify problems, process and resolve them in a timely manner
- Able to work under pressure
