This company is looking for an Account Executive to join its account management team. Your role will be to help develop long standing relationships with the customer base. The company provides electronic proof of delivery, route optimisation & related services to industry leaders in the logistics and construction sectors. The company is quickly increasing its market share across the UK & beyond making it an exciting time to join. The company’s office is in the Gyle area, Edinburgh. Staff are currently home based until restrictions are lifted.

Purpose & Scope:

As an Account Executive, you will work with the existing account managers to establish and maintain great relationships with the company’s customers. Your role will be to help customers gain maximum value from the company’s software. For new customers it will be your responsibility to ensure fast and efficient software rollout while developing and maintaining great working relationships with existing customers.

You will be handling a range of accounts from the construction, logistics, home delivery, healthcare, & field service industries. You will be answering customer questions, providing training, carrying out health checks and working with our account managers to feed in customer change requests, helping shape to shape product development plans.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Engaging with new & existing customers
- Monitoring system usage & investigating customer specific issues
- Communicating about new software updates
- Carrying out account health checks
- Helping to produce client training material
- Take ownership of long-standing client relationships
- Reporting on account health
- Carrying out customer surveys, collating & sharing results
- Input into product development plans

Key Skills:

- Experience of working within a customer success or support role
- Enthusiastic individual with a great eye for detail & a can-do attitude
- Excellent communication skills, written & verbal
- Excellent telephone manner
- Proactive attitude to customer management & retention
- CRM, billing & support platform experience, eg Pipedrive, Jira etc.
- Experience in training users on new technology
- Understanding of SAAS software solutions
- Logistics and/or construction industry experience are preferable
