Client Services Account Executive

Purpose and objectives

Reporting to the Head of Client Development within the Client Services Department, this is a demanding hands-on role. The job holder will have the responsibility for the delivery of services to their clients and to ensure that the work undertaken and produced on behalf of their clients is consistent with current operating best practice, company’s quality procedures and agreed service level agreements

The Person

The ideal candidate will have well developed interpersonal understanding skills as well as excellent communication skills both written and verbal. They will have strong commercial awareness strengthened with knowledge, experience and understanding of the response and fulfilment industry or related services.

The job holder will also have excellent administration skills, good problem solving skills, high level of experience and skill in client relationship management, high level of English literacy and will be extremely numerate. They will have good computer skills including Excel, Word and the ability to learn new software packages.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

1. Customer Liaison and Service
To build strong client relationships with a portfolio of accounts; to identify new up-sell/cross selling opportunities within the customer portfolio to grow revenue; to have a full understanding of the clients’ business module and functions; to carry out the facilitation of daily processing and ensuring the clients timeframes are meet; to use the relevant software package and to oversee the management of the stock levels held for the client and ensure it is kept up to date; to ensure the company is complying with the Service Level Agreement for the client.

2. Communication
To interpret job specification and liaise with the client to ensure a full understanding of the client’s brief; to liaise closely with all relevant departments to ensure items are dispatched correctly and within the customers’ specifications; to interpret clients instructions and convert them in the form of a working brief; ensure monthly invoices are generated accurately; to provide dispatch documentation; to investigate any stock discrepancies.
