This creative business has been independent and innovative for 20 years. They are looking for a confident Account Director to join their Client Services team, where you will play an essential role in the future success of the agency.

You are a key representative of the business. You safeguard the health and well-being of their business by ensuring that projects generate profit and meet their quality standards. You also look out for opportunities to develop and grow their business with your clients, seeking to know the key people well and understand what drives them. You ensure that deadlines are met, budgets are controlled and that client expectations are managed.

Day-to-day, yours is a pivotal role. By inspiring excellent creative work, using your strong organisation skills, keen eye for detail, initiative and common sense, you will bring creative work to life and fill clients with enthusiasm. Your thoughts on their opportunities and challenges, strengths and areas for improvement are valued.

Responsibilities

- Responsible for the overall day-to-day delivery of projects, as well as supporting the team in contributing to the strategic direction & development of each specific account
- This role includes managing budgets and cost estimates, profitability, forecasting and deadlines
- You will be expected to maintain great relationships with key client contacts and external suppliers
- The role requires you to be able to work independently and with team stakeholders.
- You will be required to manage the creative process efficiently from brief to delivery
- You will have the confidence to take ownership of projects, using initiative to solve problems, managing projects and ensuring delivery.
- You should aim to guarantee client satisfaction by meeting client expectations and building productive and trusting client relationships.
- Writing creative inspiring and efficient creative briefs and briefing the creative teams
- Manage the creative process efficiently

Skills and Experience:

- Currently at Account Director Level with at least 5 years’ agency experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of marketing communications and the creative process
- Experience and proven track record of managing large projects in a creative or advertising agency
- Project delivery experience
- A real passion for advertising and marketing
- Ability to challenge the client, manage internal/external issues and difficult/problematic situations to facilitate the delivery of project with a positive outcome
- Co-ordinate and manage multiple projects effectively and prioritise on a day to day level
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to achieve positive results
- Manage and utilise an Account Executive and be responsible for their development

Salary: £35-£40k (depending on experience)
