Excellent opportunity to join a leading UK manufacturer of bespoke steel doors and other security products. The company has a sustained growth over the past years and is looking for another project co-ordinator to assist the lead project co-ordinator.
The main purpose of this role is to monitor and report the progress of specific customer orders through the sales, purchasing, engineering and production departments. Specific jobs will require tracking through the supply line stages to ensure production can achieve pre agreed delivery dates.
Main Responsibilities include:
- Co-ordinating key project information throughout the business
- Liaising with all departments to identify the most efficient ways of completing projects whilst satisfying customers needs.
- Maintain accurate real time records of all projects
- Develop and use appropriate systems and software to assist in recording and reporting.
- Be proactive in identifying any potential time line failures at the earliest opportunity
- Present options to resolve events potentially causing delivery failure
Essential skills and Knowledge
- The ability to understand and write good English
- Highly competent spread sheet user
- The ability to apply capacity planning techniques
- The ability to understand engineering drawings Interpersonal skill sufficient to communicate effectively with staff at all levels within the organisation
- Detailed product training will be given as appropriate
