This is an opportunity to join a growing IT solutions provider with customers based primarily in the UK. This is a full time position for a 2nd Line Support Engineer to accommodate their growth and existing team of engineers/technicians. Someone who is looking to relocate to Sofia, Bulgaria.
You will be working on a variety of hardware, software and application Incidents and Requests. Your daily tasks will include troubleshooting and solving problems, working on incidents, implementing changes and managing various remote systems primarily built with Microsoft and Office 365 technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Provide advice, guidance and assistance to customers
- Liaise with internal and external teams to ensure timely resolution to customer Incidents
- Assist in documentation creation
- Project work
- Troubleshooting utilising our existing toolset
- 3rd party liaisons, registering faults with vendors
Skills & Experience:
- Extensive experience in administrating Windows Server 2008 and later versions (installation, configuration, patching, troubleshooting)
- Networking knowledge (NAT, IPv4, VLAN, Routing, Switching)
- Experience in server virtualization (Hyper-V)
- Experience setting up and supporting Office 365
- Understanding of SIP and VoIP
- Ability to assess, interpret and apply known skills to resolve clients Incidents
- Fluent English Language
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work with team members and business owners to define goals and strategies
- Ability to present ideas in business-friendly language
Competitive salary dependent on experience £40,000 Lev - £55,000 Lev
Working hours - 11AM to 7PM Sofia time
