This IT company based in Stalybridge, Manchester has a wide variety of clients that require daily IT support. They are looking for someone to join their team who has great customer service skills and is friendly and approachable. This person will be based at their busy office however they may need to do onsite visits so having access to their own car is desirable but not completely necessary. Their office can suddenly become hectic so being able to work well under pressure is amust.

Your duties and Responsibilities

- Provide 2nd/3rd line Remote Support
- Provide onsite support
- To be friendly and approachable
- To log & prioritise system & user support calls and action faults as reported on: PC’s, servers, laptops, mobiles and remote site equipment.
- Creating and maintaining Active Directory/Exchange accounts
- Document and maintain Help Desk policies and procedures help build on knowledge base
- Track, monitor and report on all Help Desk incidents within defined service levels.

Essential Experience

- A minimum of 3 years in a IT Support Role
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2008 r2 -2012r2
- Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems Windows 7-10
- Experience of working on a busy help desk, supporting clients remotely
- Extensive Knowledge of AD/Exchange 2010/2013/Office 365
- Set up of Hardware; Routers, Switches Etc.
- Knowledge of Cisco Client VPN’s
- Knowledge of backups
- Knowledge of Hypervisors; Hyper-V,

Desirable Experience

- Knowledge of SQL and Database Maintenance
- Knowledge of AV management consoles and Endpoint Protection
- Access to own vehicle and full clean license
- Knowledge of Lync and Skype for Business
- Knowledge of on premise exchange to office 365 and Skype for Business/Azure
- Knowledge of Kaspersky Endpoint Security
- Knowledge of Sage
- Cisco ASA Firewall / Nat/Access policies and setting up site to site VPN’s
- Experience in Project Management role
