The business was awarded Cashback Site of the Year 2016 & 2017 by Consumer Moneyfacts. Due to this expansion, they are looking to expand their IT teams based in their Bolton office.

The Role
This is an excellent opportunity to work for an internationally expanding, commercial online business. They are looking for .Net Developers (ASP.Net, MVC, C#, VB.Net, MSSQL) to join their growing teams in Horwich, Bolton.

Based within teams of 4-6, you will work in an agile manner alongside the Technical Lead to deliver value and solutions for their commercial website and operational teams. You will be involved in the full software development lifecycle and will be working on projects that encompass their website framework, databases, apps and processing systems.

This is an opportunity to help drive a major re-architecture and re-design for their core online business, being developed within the .Net framework with loads of opportunities for growth and fun.

The Candidate
The role is suitable for a multi skilled developer with an accomplished development background who can work on all aspects of the development lifecycle as part of a small team. You can expect to be involved in the full software development lifecycle and will be working on projects that encompass their website framework, databases, apps and backoffice processing systems.

You will have a proven track record of high volume ecommerce websites within a large data environment. Previous experience working in an Agile environment would be desirable. You would be detail oriented with good, creative problem solving skills and the ability to code according to good practice of writing maintainable code and techniques for helping maintain agility, such as unit testing, SOLID and design patterns.

Essential Qualities
- Web development experience (ASP.Net / VB.Net / C#/ MSSQL)
- HTML / CSS / JavaScript
- Winforms, Webforms
- Used to working in a fast paced web development environment
