The steady recovery of demand for international tourism has been highlighted by the launch of a new recruitment drive by travel firm International Cruise and Excursions (ICE) Europe.
The company is recruiting for 100 new sales jobs at a brand new call centre in Stanmore in North West London. The company, which has its headquarters in Kettering in Northamptonshire, said that it is looking to recruit a team of experienced outbound travel sales agents for the operation.
ICE representative, Warren Joy, said that the outpost will add to its existing customer service operations in Cork, Ireland and the recruits will be given comprehensive training for the jobs.
“New recruits for the Stanmore operation will preferably have a background in sales, but they don’t necessarily need travel industry experience,” he explained. “They will go through a four week training programme to introduce them to the range of ICE products and our proven customer relationship management systems.”
The company recently acquired the travel websites 1st4cruising.com and Voyana.com from Total Travel Leisure Holdings. ICE is launching the new centre to handle the expected rise in new business brought in from the sites and to introduce customer “to the wide range of holiday options we offer though our established loyalty reward schemes including cruises and resort packages.”
