Global doughnut brand, Krispy Kreme, has announced details of a new UK recruitment operation that will involve “quite a comprehensive selection and assessment process”.
The US brand is looking to further its stake in the British market with strategic growth plans targeted at the north-east of England and Scotland. The company’s head of human resources, Claire Giraldo, told the Recruiter industry publication that the recruitment process would be thorough and exacting to make sure they found the most suitable candidates.
She said they are looking for new recruits who have “a functional match, making sure the individuals have the right skills and competencies to do the jobs – but we are also going to be looking for people who have passion for the brand, who are very passionate about engaging the customers and taking it to the next level in terms of creating ‘magic moments’ for our customers.”
The confectionery company has recently announced some very positive annual results, with a 26 per cent increase in revenues and accelerating like-for-like sales in the UK. It follows a strategic geographical expansion carried out last year, which saw it establish outlets in Bath, Cardiff, Liverpool, Leeds, Sheffield, Preston and Stratford.
